LEAGUE MANAGMENT:

Fours League:
Kelly Graves

Twos League:
Jeff Moore

ROSTERS:
Are due by first game.  Please email them to me using the template posted on the Fours Leauge page.

SCHEDULE:
If your team is highlighted in yellow, that means that you and the other teams in yellow are responsible for working together to clean up (all trash in trash cans), put everything away and turn off the lights before you leave.

COURTS/LINES:

  • Court 1 is closest to the parking lot.
  • Court 2 is farthest from the parking lot.
  • Yellow lines are for 4's, black lines are for 2's.
  • Division BB/B - PLEASE LEAVE THE LINES DOWN.
  • Division A - PLEASE CHECK THE SCHEDULE IN THE SHED AND ONLY LEAVE LINES DOWN IF REGULAR BB/B GAMES ARE SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY.

GAME TIMES:
***6:00 GAMES NEED TO START AT 6:00***  If you are the 6:00 game, you need to be there early enough to help put out the 4's lines (yellow lines), warm-up and get the game going on time.

SCORESHEETS:
Please, please, please fill these out correctly with Date, Time of game, Teams, Score, Who Won, etc.  Jackie collects these each week and it's imperative that she can read the results of the games.  Rookies - look to the veteran's for help with the scoresheets, or ask me.

IF YOU RUN OUT OF SCORESHEETS, LET ME KNOW ASAP!!!!

WORK TEAMS:
You are responsible for keeping things on time the best you can - especially the 6:00 games.  Also, please make working just as important as playing.  You will need 4 people - 2 for lines, one for score, one for up-ref.  You will need a whistle.  I will buy some new ones and get them in the shed before May 4 for those of you that don't have your own.

WEATHER:
If league management has not called a rain-out by 3pm, teams should show up to play. Play can continue while it is raining. It is up to the teams playing to determine if play should be stopped due to heavy rain, lightning and thunder.  If they cannot come to an agreement, the referee will make the call.  If play is stopped and cannot be continued because rain does not pass, the game will be made up the following free Thursday for BB/B divisions.  A division will find an open slot on Wed or next available Thurs for a rain-out make-up.  An e-mail will be sent from league management confirming when the make-up will be held.  It is the team captain's responsibility to notify their team members or to assign a designee for their team who will be checking e-mail up to 3:00 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Teams should take cover (about fifteen minutes) and wait to see if the storm/rain passes - then resume play if possible.  Our courts have awesome drainage.  The rain shouldn't affect the courts to where they are not playable.
Again.....if league management has not called a rain-out by 3pm, teams should show up to play.  I can do a lot, but I cannot predict or control the weather (although I've tried)!  :)

NO-SHOWS:
This is not tolerated.  Repeat offenders will be dismissed from the league.  Please be considerate and think about who you are affecting by not showing up.  If you cannot field a team, please notify me ASAP so I can contact the other teams affected.

****If you cannot field a team, it is a forfeit.  We only re-schedule games for rain-outs.  Any re-scheduling will be coordinated by league management.

LIGHTS:
When you go to turn the lights on, please make sure you have someone with you that has done it before to show you.  Our landlord takes care of the lights and requests that you wait 15-30 seconds in between turning on each switch.

BATHROOMS:
The building stays open until 9:30 - 10:00.  Please keep these as neat as possible and do your best not to track sand everywhere. A hose is located on the back of the building by the door.

NOTIFICATIONS:
I send email correspondence to only Captains and Co-Captains a lot of the time.  It is their responsibility to make sure that their team receives any information that comes to them.
